Get to know our history, beliefs, leadership, and mission
JB Das has been working as our Faith Light Ministries team leader and program manager since 2021 and 4 of our Sunday School teachers have been with us since the beginning of our Faith Light Ministries.
Grace Community Church was established by Reverend John Smith and 25 founding members in a small rented space downtown.
After 15 years of growth, the congregation built its first dedicated church building on the current property.
The church underwent a major expansion to accommodate the growing congregation, adding a new sanctuary and educational wing.
We opened our community center to better serve the needs of our neighborhood with various outreach programs.
We celebrated 70 years of ministry and service to our community, reflecting on our rich heritage while looking toward the future.
We are grounded in the historic Christian faith and committed to the authority of Scripture. Our beliefs shape everything we do as a church community.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We are committed to the proclamation of the gospel—the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
We value authentic Christian community where people can grow, serve, and do life together in meaningful relationships.
We are called to demonstrate God's love through practical acts of service and compassion to those in need.
We believe every Christian is called to be a missionary in their own context, sharing God's love in word and deed.
We rely on prayer in all aspects of church life, recognizing our dependence on God for everything.
Meet the dedicated team guiding our church community with wisdom and compassion.
